Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Gratitude, Growth, and Community Through Boudoir Photography

Updated: Dec 15, 2024

As the year draws to a close, I can’t help but look back on everything that 2024 brought into my life—and what an incredible journey it has been! This has been a year of growth, creativity, and gratitude. Through every challenge and triumph, I’ve been reminded how truly blessed I am to do what I love as a boudoir photographer in Pittsburgh and Perryopolis, surrounded by an amazing community.

One of the highlights of this year was being recognized as the Best Boudoir Photographer in Pittsburgh for 2024. It was such an honor to be celebrated in a city that I love and serve. Additionally, I was thrilled to win second place for the Best of Fayette County, and to be named a Top 3 Finalist in Southwestern Pennsylvania. These accolades were a dream come true and a testament to the dedication, trust, and love that both my clients and my community have shown me.

This year, I had the privilege of working with over 100 amazing clients, helping them celebrate their beauty, confidence, and unique stories. Every session I photograph—whether at my Perryopolis studio or my Pittsburgh boudoir studio—brings its own magic. The joy of capturing these moments is matched only by the friendships and connections I’ve built along the way. This year wasn’t just about creating art but about building a community filled with support, empowerment, and inspiration.

Running two boudoir studios, in Pittsburgh and Perryopolis Pennsylvania was no small feat, but the growth and fulfillment made it all worth it. I also had the privilege of working with an incredible team of three employees who became an integral part of the success we shared this year. Together, we overcame challenges, celebrated milestones, and kept pushing forward to provide the best boudoir experiences for our clients.

A major achievement this year was reaching 125 five-star reviews. Each review tells a story of confidence gained, fears overcome, and beauty celebrated. Knowing that my work is helping people see themselves in a new light means everything to me. Your trust and kind words fuel my passion and remind me why I chose to pursue boudoir photography in Pittsburgh and beyond.

2024 was also a year of personal and professional growth. I invested countless hours in education—through online courses, mentorships, and self-study—to refine my craft. From posing techniques to lighting mastery, every ounce of effort was dedicated to ensuring that my clients receive the best experience possible. My work was even recognized on a global level when I won second place in a worldwide photo contest, a moment that felt like a dream come true.

Of course, this year came with its challenges. Social media censorship continues to make it harder to share my art, but it’s also forced me to lean into what truly matters: connecting with my clients, building trust, and focusing on the relationships that have always been at the heart of my business.

Let’s not forget my ongoing camera upgrades—yes, two in a single year! It’s a sign of how much I’ve grown as a photographer and how committed I am to staying on the cutting edge for my clients.

This year, I also focused on giving back to my community, though it still feels like there’s more I can do. Whether through charitable efforts, empowering others through boudoir photography, or simply being a source of inspiration, I’m determined to make an even bigger impact in 2025.

As I step into the new year, I do so with a heart full of gratitude. To every client who trusted me, every person who cheered me on, my amazing team, and all of my friends and family who have supported me along the way—I see you, and I thank you.

Here’s to another year of creating art, celebrating confidence, and building community. To my Pittsburgh and Perryopolis boudoir clients: thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Let’s make 2025 even more unforgettable.

With love and gratitude

XOXOXO,

Tiffany
